OVER AND OUT!

Danny's surgery is over and he is out. He came through with flying colors, of course. Only because he went to the best Hospital in the state, he also had the best orthopedic surgeon doing the surgery. That makes all the difference. He had a great experience. Thank you Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, the staff there were awesome.

Carnival Fun

We took the kids to a WT carnival at the Mall.The biggest problem was only Weston was tall enough to ride by himself. It was a rip-off but the kids had fun and as you see, so did Jessica.

Today Bristol turned 3 years old. We had lots of food and friends come to the park and celebrate. Everyone loved the cupcakes including Papa

Under the Knife

Well, the date is set. March 24 Danny gets his left hip replaced. He went and saw the surgeon yesterday, after looking at the X-Ray the surgeon said, yes you need both hips replaced we will start with the Left . The Surgeon got him scheduled for the 24th of March. I can't believe he got in so fast.

HIP HOP MAKE IT STOP

For several months now Danny has been complaining that his leg and hip have been killing him. It hurts to walk and it feels great to lay down at night with his legs up. He has been to the doctor multiple times and received injections of steroids His trips to the Doctor to get treatments of steroids were becoming closer and closer almost every month. All along I have told him to have the Doctor X-Ray the hip but he never asked and the Doctor never suggested this be done. Monday Danny called in from work he said the pain is unbearable He called the Doctor and said he wanted to have an X-Ray of his hips. So the Doctor agreed. Today he saw the Doctor at 0520 AM!!! and Guess what! yep he needs both hips replaced. He has Arthritis (Severe Arthritis) in both hips. And I'm not even an Orthopedic Nurse!( I did work orthopedics my first year as a nurse.)
